| My school's linguistic teaching was very...weak.
Most of my knowledge of english comes purely from self teaching. I spell wednesday "wensday" and business "buisiness".
And that's why I use spellcheck.

So I have never used spell check.

| We never had any form of spelling competition.
We never had any english-specific classes.
In Language arts, we haven't learned how to spell words since 1st grade.
I see it as more of failure on my part for staying there, rather than insulting someone who is actually intelligent from school, instead of self learning.
