| Doesn't mean we have to go to them all, not to mention how long it takes for a week to pass when we RP it. It takes like a month of us RPing without massive timeskips.
I guess we can make the tournament a bi-annual thing. Twice a year would make it quite a big event.

| Perhaps the Gramps theory comes into play during the final match of this big tournament? He reveals himself across the world to be behind it all, as our heroes are forced to face off with wave after wave of multiple criminal groups?
Team flare doesn't apply here, because If I even remember correctly, I don't think they ever tie into any other criminal groups at all. Their plans are COMPLETELY different.
Also, we'll have to leave magma and Aqua out of this, since they disbanded in gen 3 because both of their leaders realized the folly in their plans.

| I have no idea. The more of that I typed, the less my incorporation of the gramps theory makes sense.
Perhaps scrap anything involving Oak, and let's just make it where there's a big of a decisive time between gym leaders, where gym leaders from nations have been taking sides, because of some dispute of cheating between two league champions, in the tournament? This could eventually explode into a sort of war, which either gets really violent, or it's just another "I'll beat your pokemon, take some of your money, and wont let you progress" sorta thing.
