I looked out the window, remembering. "Shadows are more than most people unnderstand. They're beings, hiding in an alternate world only half an in in ours, and that's why they hide in our corners and stalk us during the day. Dark is nonexistent, those are the shadows when they enter our world and dance and steal our dreams. I found them in my past and let them overwhelm me, they promised me power and comfort and I let them in. If I got rid of them now, I'd still be part shadow myself because they've been in me so long, but 10 years ago, I was just a normal human. Sometimes, when I'm fighting hard like that and grow weak, they take over and only use my body as their medium to attack the world. That's why I'm scared...but still, I cannot let them out, they've grown to strong."
