"It just reminds me of seeing them dead..." I winced.
Flashback
I got up weakly and stumbled as I tried to walk over to mom. "Mom? Alice? Dad?" I called out, coughing. Everything was charred and black or was that only me? That fire...did it caused this? I crawled over piles of blackened wood and gasped, immediately regretting it. I coughed the smoke back out and saw mom and Alice, laying there so peacefully. I got closer to them, not believing what I saw.
"No." I whispered as i gently shook mom. "Momma please. Don't leave me here all alone." I wiped the tears away from my face. "Please wake up." I moved over to Alice and gently shook her before is started sobbing.
