What type of threads are you guys looking for?

| Need ideas for what kind of thread I should make.
A few things to note
*There will be a deep story to it, several twists or surprises if we get far enough
*Will have choices on reactions, allowing you to request viable options for encounters or ideas through a item each player will have, name varying depend on the type of story we're going with.
*Prepare for combat, No matter what time period it's in, bandits will always exist. So will trees. Both are annoyingly common.

| Mmm, No actually, that would come later, being of a flip-switch to fire technology, not to mention more compact and reliable. By then, most things like battle-axes, crossbows, shields and such would be useless, now that gunpowder weapons have been improved, being able to do more damage in a shorter reload time. Muskets took about half a minute to 2 minutes to reload, depending on if you had trouble replacing the gunpowder. Flintlocks were much quicker reload due to flint sparks firing it, thus making it only require bullets themselves to be loaded in, instead of cleaning out the gunpowder and putting more in, as well as the large and unreliable bullet.
So no, flintlocks would not be around. Too advanced, it would remove the usage of many medieval weaponry.

| Yes, a musket rifle. Horrible accuracy, strong kick, (Not throw you on the ground kick, but it can break a bone if held wrong) but very deadly, if the bullet strikes you. The bullets were large and round, so they wouldn't pierce skin, but it would break bones or tear a limb completely off, that includes internal bleeding if it strikes the area of a vital.
Crossbows were more reliable for small units, but a large army with rifles would be very deadly, because you're guaranteeing to kill SOMEONE at least, with that rain of musket balls.
Crossbows at that point were not as deadly, but very, very reliable. Quick to fire, deadly if they hit a vital point, and very accurate, as well as being light and easy to aim.
So yeah, musket for power, crossbow for speed.

| Another Idea is a Rebellion Rp, Set in the Industrial Age (So I can have my flintlock) where the main chareters are Rebels trying to take down an evil Empire

| Mercenary would be more recommended, musketeers weren't too useful, unless they were needed in the army. If a Army campaign happens, a mercenary can be hired as a musketeer anyways, they just can't hire him for the usual military term, only for the jobs they need done.

Perhaps you can be a tester for the flintlock early in the RP, after meeting "him" after a mission. I'm sure I can work it in.
