Steampunk is dense and has no compelling aspects except "RIVET GUNS AND AIR BALLOONS"
How about a hyper-advanced space age kinda thing. Extensive races all good at certain things, multiple innovative forms of combat, an entire star map, fantasy-form or real life based, with info on every planet we can visit in 3 or 4 solar systems.
If we're gonna make something big, you gotta go hard on the paint.

| Personally, I believe that everyone has the idea that a thread has to be unlimited, and that it must go on forever. I think that if you open your mind to the thought of short stories that end with a dramatic "the end", then thread ideas foreign to this site will instantly start flowing. I wish I could make a return to this site, because I truly miss you all. I honestly do think that this will just be another time of me "checking in" but yenno.

| Something fresh and original? Bah! I do have one idea and it may not favor everyone since I don't know if anyone is interested in it. I'm an expert on mythology and I was hoping we could make one since we never had a thread on/about any mythology. If we do agree, then we'll have to agree on either Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Japanese, Norse(yuck, rather not), OR a crossover (which I'll hate if Riordan does it with his series).

| No, it'll be like the lost hero series with Roman and Greek. It'll be a mess of gods and goddesses. Plus it'll be confusing. There's already a vote for Greek anyways. For example: knowledge will be Athena for Greek, Mirvana (however you spell her name) for Roman, and Thoth for Egyptian. It's a mess.
I'm not a fan of Norse. I still respect them though.
