| Imagine your life currently. Full of freedoms, full of life, full of hope, etc. Now flip that all over and that's where we begin. The year 2050 and Earth went through its Third World War. Radiation from atomic bombs and missiles litter the 7 continents. Remember the old saying that history always repeats itself? Humans never learn from their mistake. Maybe in the next 50 years, there would be apologizes sent, supplies dropped where needed, humans recognizing their mistakes and moving on. For now. In the long run, everything would repeat and become a cycle once more.
Eager to break this, one man and his followers overthrew the central government and established a dictatorship. In his speech, the dictator- let's call him Mark- proclaimed that the reason humans never learned was because of secrets. Not enough policing, and definitely not spies to keep the common people in their places from spreading rumors. Under his rule, police and military now roam the streets, searching for any rule breakers. People turned on one another for any suspicious actions or words, especially the neighbors. Never trust your neighbors as they could be put there just to watch you. Even little children that were born into this society were taught to turn their parents in if they detect any abnormality. Everyone was watched heavily. Oh dear me, it seems like I forgot one more point.
Being born as servants was seen as the most freeing. No constant worrying of anyone trying to turn you in. As long as you keep your head out of trouble and finish the job that the master has ordered, everything will be okay. Servants get to sing, play, laugh, everything that we take for granted right now. It is the exact difference of being born in a class with riches and possibly a government job, but constantly monitored.
Would you submit or risk being turned in? Once turned in, there's no backing out alive.
Rough concept. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

| It seems like an interesting idea, but it doesn't seem like something that would be super interesting in practice. We had a thread before that was lifestyle, but it ended up just being you and naru.

| Well, throwing ideas and seeing what sticks works better than not throwing anything at all, so keep it up. This is a good idea on it's own, I'm just not sure there'd be a lot of activity on such a thread.
