| (I believe it's ability should be based on how you obtain it. Lawful-type allows it to be imbued in righteous fire, Evil provides the ability for one free spell, something like that, I dunno.)
I take the neutral option. I needed to be prepared first. Plus, I was kinda hungry.

| (this what you have in mind
A Lawful Good Weapon: Glows white, does extra damage to evil foes, grants Healing Magic, however very weak if not a mage
A Lawful Evil Weapon: Glows Black, does extra damage to good or Chaotic foes, grants attack based magic
Neutral: Doesn’t glow, does extra damage to both sides, gains Fireball spell or Heal
Chaotic Evil: Glows red does extra damage to All Lawful or Good foes, gains either a Fire or Lightning based spell
Chaotic Good: Glows Blue, does extra damage to All Lawful or Evil foes, increases intelligence.
My idea, is I keep count on how many Good, Evil, Neutral or otherwise choices you make on your quest for the ledgendary weapon. The Weapon will be molded by those choices)

Good: Buy Weapons for everyone else but you since you got the longsword

| The bandits call you a traitor and attack you head on. However, they stop when the guards help you out, chasing the other bandits beside the leader off. Unsurprisngly the bandit leader surrenders inmmidatly
Lawful Good: Arrest him
Chaotic Good: Injure him
Neutral: Let the guards kill him
Lawful Evil: Arrest him, than execute him personally infront of the town
Chaotic Evil: Kill him in a horrible fashion
