(Bell already rang)
"Are you going to the game tonight?" She asked, genuinely interested.

Taylor made sure everyone had cleared out before closing up the gym.

I continued drying myself off as he left, making sure I didn't look like I ran a mile in these clothes.

"...I've never been to one." He said quietly.
He didn't even know the rules of football. He guessed it was all about giving the enemy team as many concussions as possible while trying to get a small brown ball through a yellow wishbone.

"You should come, it's tons of fun," she smiled. "Don't tell Taylor, but it's the marching band that makes it good, not the goof balls on the field," she laughed quietly.

What.
Steve's mind threw up a pros and cons list almost immediately.
It would be interesting to watch.
You have no idea how the game is played.
The band would be nice.
It is NOT your scene.
You've been practically invited.
...By not only by the head of the band, who probably tells that to everyone, but the most social person in the state. You are no exception.
It would be fun!
It would be hell.
You've never tried it! Give it a try!
A crowd of teenagers? That's where the kidnapper is most likely to be.
His brain went silent while it digested this last thought.
"...um..." he said, his brain still chewing through the massive load of information on his mind.

"What is this I hear about band being better? Mutiny!" Taylor cried, exiting the gym. Cassidy kissed him briefly in hello. "Nah, listen to her, you gotta come see the band man, they're kick ass. They've had full attendance since the kidnappings a started without fail, they're amazing. You could even leave after half time." Taylor smiled at Steve, putting his arm around Cassidy.

Damnit, she's got backup in the form of Taylor. His brain snapped back into action, focusing on the situation at hand.
"Oh, uhh...Yeah. I'll...Go. I'll go." He said, more confidently the second time.
His brain had an answer. It was a weak one, but it was one. Yes, the killer could be there. But if he was, Steve could spot him and find him. Pure reconnaissance. Probably good music as well, and a viewing of a bunch of people in armor poorly re-enacting historical battles. He always could leave at half time, like Taylor said.

Scott
I walked past the horrible lovey dovey couple and the socially inept kid. I sneered then walked away with my friend.

Taylor beamed. "Awesome. See you there dude," he said. Cassidy waved. "Bye Steve." They turned to make their way to the parking lot.

I headed out towards my car from the gym. I've gotta head home and get some rest in before preparing for the game tonight.

Steve looked at the couple leaving. Their love was almost suffocating, but eh, to each their own.
Scott, on the other hand, was simply awful. The worst part was that he was smart enough to know better than what he did, yet still did it.
Speaking of that, Steve finally realized what he had just agreed to. After a brief moment of extreme panic, logic set in. It was simply a football game.
Making sure the hallway to the parking lot was clear of Scott and The Perfect Couple, he made his way out of the school.

As I got in my Ford F-150 hand me down from my dad, I noticed that really tall guy coming to the parking lot.

Don't see him around much, wonder what vehicle he drives, if he does.

Steve walked to his car.
The only car he had ever owned, a completely normal red Honda. He unlocked it with his keys, and climbed in.
He was still on his permit. Better be careful. He revved the engine.
that was NOT the sound of a Honda engine. That was at least 4 numbers higher than a V4.

Taylor and Cassidy walked to Cass' car, a Forest Green 2002 Nissan Xterra, talking about their days. Cassidy's was relatively uneventful, a lot of sympathy looks from people and apologies but otherwise like any other day. A lot of people were talking about the possibility of someone being taken tonight but everyone was still going to the game. Taylor had a lot of 'good luck's in his classes but had an uneventful day as well. They got in the car as Taylor made a joke and Cass laughed quietly. The day was nice and overcast, a chilly breeze blew through the parking lot. It would feel fantastic at the game tonight.

I probably upset people today but I'm to busy to play that facade. I have a patrol tonight, hopefully I could stop the Kidnapper.

(Makes sense. An overly cocky character thinks he can be the hero and beat the kidnapper.)

I made my way home. No one's cars were in the driveway at the time, as always. I'll be getting ready for the game by time they get home, but they always make it to the game in time. My sister doesn't because of her job, but she always calls me the next day about the game.

Steve wished his car wasn't so loud, but he guessed it was a price to be paid for an expensive engine.
He slowly drove home, wondering how alienating the football game was going to be.

Name: Arron Grier
Age: 17
Gender: M
Appearance: http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs70....j8a.png (ignore the snake)
Hobbies: Music, band, driving
Family: Tonya Grier,  (Mother, 45) Donald Grier (Father, 47)
Bio: An unintentional introvert, Arron never founded many friends outside of music or band. He hasn't strived to be the most popular person ever, but he just expected it as he had that type of reputation around middle school. After some contemplation of moving somewhere else for the rest of his schooling, he found that he was comfortable with the life he had and that there was nothing he couldn't learn to hate in Monteville that he couldn't in any other city.
