The generic telephone sound rang for a moment, before he picked up.

"Hello Mari- O-Oh, Aaron! What ah, what happened to Mari?"
"She's over there." I let BASS rotate the camera to show her against the tree, passed out, before returning it to my face.
"So, you met the new..."
"Yeah. Yeah I did."
"Now, before you get angry Aaron, allow me to explain-"
"You better explain quick Doc, because I want to know why she's called Treble instead of something else! Treble was a support unit, because she supported me! This is an strike unit, she said so herself! She did the pose, Doc!"
"Yes well, it all comes down to a simple mind set. Ah, your mind set, to be precise."
"Make it quick Doc, it wont be hard to find your lab."
"Well you see, as you already know, the original Treble unit-"

"BASS, run a database scan on Mari. she's gotta be a newer experiment, if she's this amateurish. That list is old, but hopefully she's on it. If not, begin arranging a new custom entry based on data gathered during the fight."

"Oh thank God, Aaron how is Mari doing currently? Has she woken up yet?"
I flipped off the safety on my rifle. "Enough."
"Enough?"
"So who are you paying for body collection these days? Is it still Brock and Lester?"
"What do you mean-"
"NO WAIT!" Mari screamed.
His sentence was interrupted by a gunshot.
"What did you just do Aaron?"
"Better send clean up, doctor." I ended the call.

Her suit kept ringing, but she kept declining the call as soon as it happened. After a few attempts, he started calling me. I shushed her while she was trying to avoid laughing. I answered the call. "Ahem, hello doctor. What are you calling again for?"
"What did you do, you sick fuck!"
"Find a different name for your next experiment. This one didn't earn my approval." I ended the call.

"BASS, block caller."

"TREBLE, block caller."

"So how was my performance?"

"He sounded convinced."
