| (It would depend on how you look at it. For example: Descartian theory -- I think therefore I am -- if you believed this, then the only thing you can prove to be really true is yourself and yourself only. Therefore, everything else, scientific, mathematic, historic, etc. becomes a theory you yourself developed within your head. Or, maybe you believe all theories to be true, therefore making them all scientific laws. Theories are theoretical, but theories are widely accepted to be true whether or not they are. All of mathematics is, simply, a theory. There's no way to prove our number system is correct, or if they correctly describe the mass of the earth, but we believe them to be. And it is universally accepted as fact, though not truly proven. Or take music theory. Millions of musicians out there learning their art, and learning on a theory: music theory. So, if it's so accepted, is it theoretically possible we can make something maybe not true before so believed in it becomes a law, or will someone like Copernicus come along and disprove the very thing we thought to be true by figuratively "creating a heliocentric universe." Point of view matters, and theories exis in all areas of science. In this case though...yes, theoretical science would be fitting.)
