There was a tavern, and an Inn. Which building did she look to for a room and possible information?
A tavern has a main room that serves drinks. Could cause problems if you're unfortunate, but it's cheaper and people are a lot more talkative when drunk.
An inn is nothing but sleeping rooms. A lot more cozy and quiet for sure, but people don't go to an inn to chat.
