Ali nodded. "Thank you." She made her way towards the indicated room and went in, setting her pack on the bed. She sat down before taking her katana out for cleaning.

I looked around the weapons shop, and started to go down the line .Every single one of these weapons were either to crude, like a spiked club or to obvious like the scimitars, and other swords. I thought about the bow and decided againts it cause Range is not my strong suit. Eventually my eyes found something that interested me.

I Looked at the and read a sign that said "Ask Management" I sighed and looked at the weapon. and examined it...it looked like it had a mechanism that sprung a hidden sort of blade which would mean a quick strike and painless death for my enemies should I be put in that scenario. I finally said "Hey what's this weapon"

(Again gonna borrow the shop keeper)

"That is a hidden blade sir, very rare to find in this part of the world" He said to me. "In fact if you were looking for something that would not leave a trail that would be the blade"

I paused and sighed "Is it good for quick deaths?"

"The men who get struck by the blade feel pain yes, if done improperly" He said to me. "However, usually it is quick and painless as it gets"

I sighed "Okay whats with the ask management part of the sign"

He revealed a big freaking knife! "The cost of wearing the hidden blade is the loss of one's ring finger" He said to me

It took a second to sink in and I responded with a "Wait...WHAT?!"

(No, desert dwellers do not commonly use hidden blades. Hidden blades and other secret weapons are considered dishonorable, and thus are shunned. They do exist, but desert dwellers do not like people who use them. There's another region who uses them commonly, but they'll come later. Please ask me next time before you assign a stereotype to a type of people. Once you edit your post to fix that, I'll respond.)

Ali settled down on the bed. She was still cautious since she was in new grounds, but was slowly adjusting to it. The girl looked trustworthy, but one can never be too careful. Better give her the benefit of the doubt. Either way, poisoning Ali wouldn't work anyway. She had seen to that years ago.

I was at full age, but if it was on the back of my hand it would be obvious that I had a weapon hidden in my cloak. Eventually I sagged in defeat and put my right hand on the table. "Just...get it over with...this is the only weapon I need"

He nodded and lifted the big knife and I closed my eyes as I felt a huge ammount of pain emenating from where my ring finger used to be. I then felt fire hitting my now stub of a finger and it was worse as I clenched my teeth to not scream in total agony. He then looked at me and said "CLench your fist" I did so and the blade poped out where my ring finger used to be. "That is proper payment you may leave

I looked at my stub and then saw the wound sparking carterizing itself. Well...that was painful

I made my way to them and said "Sorry bout that" I pulled out my guantlets and paused "UMm...boy whos name i really need to learn...can youcut off the ring finger of my right gauntlet?"

"Oh, right, the blade can't come out if the finger's blocking it."

"Well, y'know, you could have just modified the blade to come from your gauntlet. You wouldn't even have to lose your finger, and it would be useful in a direct fight as well."

He pulled his Guandao from it's hold.

"Place your finger on a table or something, so I can cut through that one finger only. If I just swing, I could take part of your hand off."

Across from her room was Sandria's room. Perhaps you could investigate what she was doing in her room before you arrived. There was also the bathroom and cleaning supplies closet. You could also investigate your own guest room, or head back to the kitchen.
