"The only problem is, I am not sure how the lizardman hierarchy works now. I am not sure if it is still divided into tribes and chieftains among the kingdom, or if it's one unified tribe now. If it's still tribes, then we simply have to find the chieftain that resides in the area of the black blade part. If it is somehow unified, well, it wont be very easy.

"So I was right?" Rosaline said with some minor pride. I looked at her and she still had her pride in her eyes.

I sighed "Only on the fact I need Amy's help" I said quietly. "Everything else you said, is wrong. I don't need you to get my way, you are simply alive because I allow it" I said turning and glaring at her. "I'm not afraid of being alone, I'm afraid of what's going to happen when I succeed, if my own daughter will ever know the TRUTH about her parentage or if she's going to just know me, as this weird man" I glared "I'm afraid that if I get the Black Blade, I will do something even I'm not comfortable doing, and I already have a plan for it that I can not personally advise, unless it is the only option" I glared at her. "I'm afraid that when my daughter grows up, her false dad will implant LIES and DECEIT about me, and she'll hate me with every fiber of her being, and know me as a monster" I sighed "I'm afraid Amy is slowly agreeing with him as well...I'm afraid that this may be the last time I can talk to her without her hating me" I clenched my first. "I am NOT afraid of being alone, I welcome the day where I die alone because I learned a LONG time ago, that the only person you can TRULY rely on in this world is yourself, trying to rely on others does not amount to much. Do not think you are something I need. You are expendable at best, and nuisance at worst!" I said glaring harshly at her. "Enjoy your damn minor victory, you will never have it again, and if you do, and you rub it in my face again. You're not getting up next time" I said walking off in anger.

Rosaline paused, and slowly walked next to me, she than said something that threw me off guard. "I'm sorry, that your life has lead you to be this angry. I know that I..am not making it easier" She sighed "But, until you either kill me or I get lucky and you die, I'm kind of stuck with you." She sighed "One day, I'm going to help make you a lot less angrier, one day I'm going to help you become a better creature than you are." Rosaline looked down. "One day, I'm going to help you...re connect...with Amy, and maybe convince Amy to help you be happy again." She paused "You could have killed me at any time through this whole thing and you haven't. I think...that proves to me...that underneath all that angry wrathful nature, is someone who just needs someone to help them through all this. Even though I still think you are the biggest asshole I have ever met" I gained a small smirk at that. "I'll try my best to help you, and make sure that you don't become what you are afraid of becoming"

I sighed "Never talk back to me again...that would be a good start"

Rosaline sighed and said, with notably less bitterness, "Yes master"
