As we got out, I created a small red ball with the trademark blue glow on it, and began tossing it up and down out of boredom, catching it. I get bored pretty easy when I'm not talking or shooting.

Evelynn got out and the dust swirled around her, the earth sand tickling her face. She smiled, in her element.

I stretched and waited for Steve to get ready.

Steve got out last, deciding to actually try and be productive, instead of staring at the sand.
"Which way to the evil cult?" He asked, looking around the desert. He couldn't see anything other than sand for miles.

Hmm. He could do south.
Steve got some chalk out of his pocket, and began to mark the ground with symbols. Alright, that one there, that one there...

Steve looked up, after fishing a compass out of his bag.
"Do you want to hike for god knows how long out in the desert?" He said. "This is simply in the interest of time."
He continued to mark the asphalt under him.

"Upset about what?" Steve said, continuing. He seemed to be forming a semi-circle of symbols, facing south.

Steve kept marking. He suddenly looked up at Slayzo.
"You might want to get behind me, or else you might not get affected by the spell." He said.

"Alright." I stepped back behind him with the others, still messing with my bouncy ball.

"I wouldn't do that, we may need a quick get away after this is over. Save your spell"  I said to Steve.

"Already ahead of you." Steve said, picking up his staff. "I have a recall spell on this. We should all be able to get home after this...Hopefully. Plus, I kind of want to see if this spell works. If it does, then great! If it doesn't, no harm done."
He hoped.
"Anyway, I might as well tell you what I have in terms of spells. I've got a spell that should hopefully kick up a dust storm to give us cover in the desert, this one here, and the recall spell on the staff. If anyone else has got a better idea for finding our opponents, then I'm glad to hear it."
Walker did have a point. Saving his spell may be important.

Walker:

"Look think about it like this' I said to Steve. "We need to be sneakier than speedy, barreling down the desert at lord knows how fast will attract attention, it may not be ideal, but we must walk this desert slowly, I packed enough water and essentials to make it as painless as possible."

"Alright."
Steve left the symbols there. They had no power, and the sand would soon scrub them out of existence.

Evelynn had been excited to get this done quickly, but now she was stuck with everyone, stuck with Walker's interviews and judgments. She groaned quietly.

Steve nodded, starting across the sands behind walker, staff in hand.
He was going to save the world.
With an elf, a demon, and Slayzo.
There was a saying for hope in the sliding language. He muttered it now.

"As I said, I can make a sandstorm, increase speed, and recall us all home."
And the fourth spell, which he will never use again.
"If given time to prepare, I can make a fireball in about one, two minutes. I brought the materials to do so."

Evelynn thought for a moment. "If you can think of something involving earth, I could probably do it. All depending on my energy supply. And I'm proficient in alchemy and a pretty sharp shooter," She said. "I'm also a good healer,"
