| True, but most side quests are going to be at random as it is.
Spar with the wandering mercenaries/pay for their service?
Supply the merchant with interesting nick-nacks for him to sell?
He could reward you with some money or such depending on the rarity of the useless item you give him.
Basically, clocks, colorful stones, sparkly objects, anything that isn't a ore or weapon/armor or such. Stuff you don't have a real use for, but it seems like a valuable item nobles might buy.
OH YEAH
and what if we came across small settlements? Restock on food and such.
Oh and for another side quest, go out and get food while the caravan waits and holds up? You have a certain amount of time to get food and get back before NPCs start dying.

| Which is why we need some form of a desert variety of a forest animal.
Sand deer? Only some have food, the others are fake sandstone statues built by sand dusks.
Sand dusks, basically bear-humanoids adapted to blending in with the sands of the desert, they build sand deer out of sand stone to lure other sand deer for food. If you catch them near their sand deer statues, they are willing to fight, but aren't as powerful as you think.

Age: 31 in appearance, 458 in valkyrie Time.
Race: Valkyrie
Height: 6'2
Weight: 153 without armor, 310 with armor.
Weapons: A Crystal magi-blade of the Valkyries, and a magi-steel shield with the valkyrie symbol engraved on it.
Items: 5X packs of rations and a draco-skin water pouch.
Specialization:(Think of classes) dragoon fencing. Basically quick striking and blocking put together to harmonically and gracefully allow vital point striking, using the ability of adrenaline slowing down time to the fighter's advantage, to plan ahead and make the fight end quickly.
Biography:(Optional. We don't care if your a thief or not, we need all skills and classes.) Xanto is a simple Valkyrie warrior, the half-brother of the Valkyrie prince. since he is only a half brother, he doesn't get the fame, respect, or money his brother gets. He acts like he isn't aware of the massive difference in them, or the fact that his brother plans to eliminate him because he knows he could easily strike down his half-brother, even with a massive amount of guards. His blade tends to increase his speed and strength when he needs it, and his shield allows increased speed and defensive reaction when needed. Hence the Magi-steel build on it. The Valkyrie title of the tools is just a variation of the increase type.
