I was actually trying to listen and taking notes, despite the temptations to follow everyone else. I mean give him a break! If he's 87 and can still teach, isn't that amazing? Other teachers just retire in their 60s, this man is quite a something to learn from. Aside from the occasional doodles on the page, I ignored the others.

"How were the Germans so terrible again?" He grinned devilishly and started all over again. I snickered, going back to my notes. Well, doodles with a few notes.

I feel a tap on my shoulder and I look over, "Yeah?" I ask the weird looking student. His voice indicated he was a sports kid, "Man, share some candy, like you know I'm your friend." he whisper I suddenly laugh without a sense of who listens. I toss him a delicate piece of my chocolate and shake my head, "Like I know you." I reply, the teacher watches us for a moment and says, "Any more interruptions, guys this is serious." She begins like every other lecture, "Why are you even here in this class if you don't care." Some kid in the back blurts, "Cause we gotta come." I turn around, "Hey, shut up, it was a rhetorical question." he asks what rhetorical means I call him stupid and then we're both sent to detention. I stand up with my stuff, "Great, I get a whole day with a moron in a quiet room." I comment.

I began doing my same routine in the detention, since I was already caught up in my classes the ISS teacher couldn't demand me to do more work that my teachers didn't assign. So I continued being quiet and eating my candy in peace.

(When I went to ISS creation they make us start from A and begin writing the entire dictionary. When you come back, you start off from where you left off if you had your previous papers, or you start all over again.)

| (Well, screw your teachers. They made us do that at my old school but that was in Middle school, not sure what a High school version of my old school would be like, since I never had to go to ISS. My current school the teacher makes them stay quiet and not look at other people. If they have work in other classes they do it and get their grades up. My school is rather lenient. Though I wasn't in trouble, I was coming back from a presentation and I had no classes when I went to ISS. She talked about Christianity to me..)
