They've officially shut down the school. News and Media Outlets show up to my hospital room at all hours of the day, I wish they'd all just leave me alone. Don't they understand that...that...that all my friends are dead? I cant close my eyes without seeing their faces, screaming, begging for me to help them, I...I should have died with them. I shouldn't be alive.

We were just doing a stupid prank, we graduated, we were going to our different colleges in the fall, we wanted to play one last, stupid prank on the highschool that had been our hell for four years. Now it will be their hell forever...it should be mine too. What I saw, I can't even explain. It was an overwhelming darkness, just permeated throughout the school. It overwhelmed us, such awful noises, shrieks and screams. It was suffocating, and even before they started attacking, it felt like we were gonna die. Through the light on our phones...we...we tried to find the exit, but it was nowhere. It felt like we were someplace else entirely, not the school anymore. Then Alice got snatched, her face full of terror, and her scream echoed for minutes. And everyone began disappearing, one after the other, and then there were three of us. George, Yates, and me. We could see the door, it was a hundred feet away, but everything was crowding in around us. We sprinted. I heard George fall but I didn't turn around. My name in his screams will haunt me forever. Yates was holding my hand, and I remember thinking if I got out of this alive I would marry him. And then my arm jerked.

I whirled around to find Yates suspended in mid-air, hanging as if on a crucifix, his arms thrown wide, blood falling from his palms. He twitched once and exploded. I'm not joking...he exploded. I felt his blood splash all over me, and I couldn't even scream. All I saw were the horrible monsters that had been behind him: enormous, gruesome beasts not of this world. I turned and ran.

Now I'm here, alive. They haven't found any bodies, and I think they think I killed them all. I feel like I did...I should be with them. I should be with them. I should be with them. Reagan Woods was found hanging from the ceiling of her hospital room the next week, marking all of the infamous Pisgah Six dead. Since then, Pisgah High School has been closed to everyone, forgotten and abandoned for 37 years. Today marks the anniversary of their deaths and a group of friends from the new Pisgah High School (teasingly nicknamed PJ for Pisgah Jr.) want to celebrate their recent graduation by spending the night in the haunted high school. You are part of that group, adequately named the New Pisgah Six.

"I'm not the one who kidnapped her" Mort pointed out "The Demon King was the one who did that, I was trying to go a good thing by giving her some confidence back because she was breaking already" He sighed "I know you meant bringing us here in the first place, but here's my counter."

He cleared his throat "By your logic, if you are blaming me for making that deal and summoning that demon getting us all here. You should also blame Mickey for going to the school in the first place, which I know you have not done."

(I think the reason this is such a problem is that you're assuming everyone's been shitty to Mort since they became friends in high school but why would they stay friends with each other if that was the case. What exactly has Mort done to try and make amends besides apologize?)

(Try to be a better person by learning about demon culture instead of just blindly assuming all of one race is evil.

Try to learn from his mistakes by trying to make amends and treat his friends better than he should have

Try to find Mickey when she got kidnapped, and immediately knew something was wrong.

Immediately went to Garret and Raven when he knew something was wrong instead of trying to solve the problem himself.

And is trying to somewhat make up with Mac because he knows that Mickey is more important than his pride...)

Mort sighed "Okay fine, I messed up with the Demon summoning thing. I also made a mistake letting my pride outweigh my feelings, and did terrible things to Garrett and everyone else by revoking the deal."

He sighed "However, the thing is whenever I try to make up for those mistakes, it's like you guys don't give me the chance to do so."

Garret sighed, his head in his hands. "Okay, let's go over this again. We bait the king out with Raven begging to see Mickey. We're all hidden waiting for him to appear. I run out and try to stop Raven and he gets all cocky and that's when we ambush. If Mickey shows up...Mac, you're job is to restrain her with your electricity. We're gonna fight and Scott's taking the final blow because he's still human. This is the hopes that a human killing the demon king will bring this hell crashing down. If it doesn't...we'll bring it down all together. This probably means the demons are going to get out too but...we'll figure it out. Sound good?" He asked, looking them all in the eye.

The Kin had released Mickey the night before and he had gotten up not five minutes ago. He knelt beside her with a smile and she tried to look away from him to no avail. "It's been too quiet. I have a feeling we have a fight ahead of us today," he said. He put his finger on her brow and she screamed, her back arching at the pain. Darkness chased her from her mind and when she opened her eyes, Mickey had been chased to the depths of her soul. She was truly a puppet now.
