I entered the gardens, walking up to Whitaker. He turned to me with a scowl and I held up a hand. "They're not use to our customs, Whitaker, let it go," and he sighed in frustration, letting his hands drop. I leaned against the railing beside him with my arms crossed as he glared at the ground. After a few tense moments his hands loosened around the railing and I felt his hand turn toward me. "I'm glad you're home safe," he said softly with a hand on my shoulder but I jerked away. "I was hoping you'd be gone, I said I never wanted to see you again," I told him as I turned my back.
