"I'll do everything to make sure she ends up like you, and not me." I showed her the Black Book and the page of the inscription. "Before I found out you were sick, I came to ask you to help me, I understand if you don't want to now..." I said looking at it. "You always were better at inscriptions than me..."

So, the humans did this? Or an assassin stationed in the Eroe Kingdom? Or maybe someone who simply knows how potent it is, and used it for political confusion. We'll figure it out when he is restored. And when we discover who did it, I will bring them before my father, and let him decide which direction their head rolls.

| Ellena sat back, her hands shaking and black dots clouding her vision. That had taken more energy out of her than she expected, but the poison was gone and anything injured internally had been fixed. She placed the bottle of poison down beside her as she lifted the sleep from Equi's father and bowed her head, trying to catch her breath and replenish her oxygen. She had never healed on that scale before, but she was proud.
Marcus finally emerged from the chambers and approached a maid. "Please call everyone for dinner," He said quietly and she scurried off. Mariana was waiting outside and he pulled her into a hug. "Your sister is still your sister, do not worry."
