I had bought a good amount of ingredients and was on my way back to the Inn, while I walked my mind wondered back to my time, much has changed, the other races have a kingdom, the elves are no longer slaves to mages, the Lizardmen are a powerful race, the Orcs are still around but seem to have become savages unlike their ancestors. I've seen a few Cat-people, I guess they were a new addition to the races as they did not appear in my time. Scott has had no real interaction with the Ombra so I haven't had the chance to learn much about them. I sighed as I walked into the Inn.

I was upset. Simple as that. My father's pride was going to get the entire city of Lucertolia massacred, if he went into a three sided war. The humans and orcs are already out to kill him, the elves and ombra may very well turn and spearhead Lucertola to remove them entirely.
If I can get the Elves to make peace with the lizardmen at least, perhaps the Elven king and queen wont have to be targets as well.

(Y'know, I'm not sure where to take Equinox's character development from here. He's been building up to rival Zelton in power, but now they're about to have a common enemy in the humans. Also, I'm thinking of making that human paladin soon to get the human side of the story pushing forward in some way other than "Evil guys who betrayed their own ally and want to kill everyone". The Paladin would probably be a character that serves the human king loyally, without any knowledge of human involvement in the poisoning.)
