Steve breathed in, and back out again.
"Thanks Walker." He said, re-tracing over his symbols in the sand so they would be more permanent.

(one hour later)

Walker:

The Bus arrived and I smiled as I saw who opened the door "Good to see you again from vacation, partner"

(Narutard, Walker was a bit harder on you than the others, BUT I feel like I should ask. May that be Nessa from the original opening the door?)

(I guess? Is she still rank 4?)
Nessa rolled her eyes and leaned against the door way, looking at the three behind Walker. She was heavily scarred across her shoulders and down her arms, but the worst scars were around her ankles and wrists, showing signs of captivity. Her skin was still too pale and her weight still a little too low but she radiated power. Her rainbow eyes flicked between colors. "I'm sorry you have to deal with him. Ever since I've been forced to take medical leave his power has gone to his head. I'll be helping with the decision process, as said by Gawain," she looked at Walker before he could object.

Evelynn looked at her in amazement. It was actually Dragonnessa, the girl who survived 5 years in captivity 170 miles below the earth's crust. They said she had broken her chains and eaten her captors alive before swimming up through burning magma to the surface again. She was so powerful...Evelynn smiled. This just got a whole lot cooler.

(Would Mikaiel still be a thing, or are we abandoning him?)

"I figured that grading process was too easy."

Who the hell is this girl? Why did she have scars everywhere? WHY WERE HER EYES MULTICOLORED? Screw the who, WHAT the hell is this girl? Was she even a girl at all? Was she a personified emotion? An demon? An ELF?
Steve could feel, ACTUALLY FEEL, the power radiating from her. That's not normal! That's not normal at all!
...
Calm down. Just...Just calm down Steve. Just keep quiet, keep your head down, and you won't have to speak with her, and she won't turn you into a newt. Who needs answers when you can have peace of mind?
Steve looked back up, making sure to keep his eyes on Walker,  so he didn't have to look directly at her.

(@Equinox Actually i think it would be funny if Slayzo replaced Mikaiel

@Narutard Yeah she's still four, but please try to keep references to the original thread to a min, because if that was the case Walker would have been there too)

Walker:

"I was fair, but if you insist on grading them, that's fine." I said to her with a small smile. "It is good to see you again Nessa, how's your arms, they okay?" I said, revealing once again where I give a damn. I walked on the bus and sat on the front seat. "How did Gwain rope you into driving for us anyways?"

(Well here's what I was thinking. Walker actually was there, but he went full demon and completely destroyed stuff, killed a lot of people and couldn't change back so the top five gathered and repressed him and his memories so he only remembers what he does now. And to deal with Mikaiel, he was killed in the sealing process?)
Nessa's shrugged. "I don't mind, though you know I prefer superior methods of travel," she stepped off the bus and gestured. "All aboard the interrogation express," she smirked.

Evelynn stepped on, still in awe. Just amazing.

Steve stepped on quickly, keeping his head down, trying not to panic. The recall spell was still on his lips, but he tried to contain his urge to flee.

(Opinions????)
Nessa nodded. "Oh yeah, I'm gonna ask the tough questions," she said as she sat down at the wheel. "Buckle up,"

Interrogation express? Tough Questions?
Steve sat at the back of the bus, as far away from the driver as possible. He just needed to keep quiet, answer things simply when asked. Don't panic. She has no reason to kill you yet.
...
The fact that she had no reason to kill him was one of the best parts of this situation chilled Steve.

(That's fine with me. )

I got on the bus and sat down, around the middle of the bus. I could tell this was gonna be interesting.

(You sound like you don't like it, Dillon)
Nessa started the engine as evelynn sat across from Slayzo. "How was the demon hunt?"

(I'm okay with it, I don't know how to feel.)

Walker:

I smiled "It was a grand time, you would have loved it. We ran into Azula" I said with a smile. "She's just as flirty as ever"

(...)
Nessa hands tightened slightly around the wheel as she faked a brilliant smile. You would be hard pressed to tell it was fake. "Haha I don't know about love," she said. Outside the clouds were darkening

Nessa nodded. "Just perky. So, Slayzo, what are your goals with joining our ranks?" Outside the area continued to darken, though Nessa seemed just fine. The first few raindrops hit the windows and Evelynn looked out. That was strange, it was a perfectly clear day just a few minutes ago.

It was starting to rain.
This is a desert.
These things do not add up. There was not a cloud in the sky a few minutes ago but now that...Nessa...had appeared the weather had decided to go on drugs. He was almost suffocated with power, as he pushed his body farther into the back seat, as though it would help defend him from whatever evil Nessa may spring on him. It took all the power infested in him not to speak the last links of the recall spell at that time.

(Just saying, I'm working on Worst-Best threads right now)
Nessa's eyes moved to the mirror and fell on the cloaked mage in the very back. "You look positively terrified, do I scare you?"

GROW A FUCKING SPINE STEVE
With his brain giving such useful encouragement, Steve managed to straighten his posture to look directly at Nessa.
"I'm fine." He lied, looking outside at the rain again. Relax. Just Relax. Just Relax.

"Okay then," She shrugged and looked back at Slayzo, awaiting his answer. Her hands had relaxed around the wheel at this point as the tensity in her shoulders subsided. She waved her hand and the clouds disappeared.

After thinking about it, I simply answered, "To bring peace. That's all I'm here for."
