| The town in question was a small village near Goad. It didn't have a name apparently. The paper said that the medical supplies could be found in Goad, and then they would have to be carried there by package.

Goad would be about three hours to get there. If he left soon, he could be there at or around 10 PM. Any later, and he might have to deal with the late-night bandits.

The sun had long retired, and I was not even ready. I was pushing eight o clock, and I still had to find a blunt concealable object. I did not like using my Chi unless I was training. It was my last resort.
I wasn't much of a swordsman, though I knew how to make an opponent back down with a club. And if the club didnt take then out after a hit or two, then I would forget about the club and take them on hand to hand like a true warrior. I had no one to prove this too, except the doubt in my heart.

I pulled a scribbled scroll from my pocket, and strained to see where exactly I was meant to retrieve the supplies. "Post office." I read aloud. I would worry about where deliver to when I had the supplies in my possession.
I passed through the garden and through a variety of temples, and soon past the threshold of the campus. A dark road lay ahead of me. I checked my corners and over my shoulders, and then slid my hands into my robe, my right hand grasping a blunt stick I had scavenged from the tree garden.

The road to Goad was littered with patches of trees, bushes, and even stones at some points. Best to be careful and keep an eye out, in case any ambushes are planned.

I grew tired as I marched, though focused my energy on keeping my legs moving. My eyes began to flutter. I expertly took notice of this. I took a step further before I stopped.
I shut my eyes, and held my breath as I assessed my situation. I was sleep deprived and on a mission. I was alone and vulnerable. I realized I had been walking a bit slower, which was most likely a result from of fatigue. I nodded, and opened my eyes, letting them readjust to the night. I looked around once more and listened for life. I began jogging to get my blood pumping, and to cover ground.

I almost fell over myself as I came to an abrupt halt. I did a three-sixty, and looked for the life that I had heard. I tried to take a moment to weigh my options, until I realized I had none. I couldn't go back, and I couldnt stay here. I would have to wait until something actually happened to me before I could take action.
I sighed, and continued.

After a moment, the forest fell silent. Perhaps the possible danger had left?

There was a family of a man, woman, and their young boy looking for something good on the menu. There was also a man and a woman who were both alone, with one seat between each other, usually a personal space courtesy on a packed day, but the place didn't have that many people here. The family sat together at a table, and it was just those two and you sitting by the counter.

| Charles After a short while I realized I was "alone" once more. When they first made noise, I stopped. Now that they have resumed to make noise, I have stopped again. Whoever or whatever is lurking in the dark, they must know I am aware. I can keep going and fall into an ambush, or quit beating around the bush and make a stand now. A decision like that has only two outcomes. I sighed and turned back around, facing the dark. I let go of my club gently to removed my back sack. I sat it down in front of me, and rummaged through. When I removed my hands, I had twigs, flint, and kindling. I took a moment to look up, just to try to catch any movement. When I saw nothing, I continued to try to start a fire. I paused to place my club next to where I was working.

There was still silence. At this point, it almost seemed like there might have been nothing there the whole time.

"Hey." The man greeted, before looking away.
"Hi." The woman replied, before looking down at the counter once again.
The man, now that you had a better view of them, looks to be in his 30's. Short brown hair, green tunic, brown pants. Caucasian, as well.
The woman had somewhat long brown hair, and wore a simple white dress, in the style most house-wives wear. She was also Caucasian.

"Shame. Now that I think of it miss, I told you my name earlier, but you never told me yours, unless I didn't catch it at some point. We'll have to catch up on that in the future."
