After thirteen long minutes, I finished the fire, and I put a spotlight on my self. I felt uneasy, and was beginning to shiver. I didn't want to sit by the fire, so I stood. I had my club in hand as I stood, looking around. The crackling of the fire silenced all other noises. This made me feel worse, and I was beginning to develop a childish fear of the dark. My mind began telling me of the demons from hell who were waiting to take me home with them.

My fears would have to come second tonight. I must keep going. I've delayed myself enough already. Should I keep the fire burning and just leave or put it out? If I leave it burning and I keep going down the road, I'll be able for a bit if there is anyone coming up on my rear.
I didn't bother thinking of the other option. As I decided to let it burn. I readied myself, club in hand as I began to walk to my destination.
